Olympic Stars returns in Liepāja

Last weekend, the Main Arena of Liepaja Olympic center was given to young tennis players, who participated in U10 tournament “Olympic Stars” for U8 (RED) and U9 (ORANGE) age groups.The organizers of the tournament can be happy, because at the last tournament of the year, participated 51 participants not only from Liepaja. The participants arrived as well from other Latvian cities – Ventspils, Rīga, Cēsīs, Ikšķile, Ādaži and others.During the tournament, it was played 156 games. Despite the big participant number and the big competition, the home court advantage was used by players from Liepaja, who overall took 15 medals from 24 possible. In the tournament are awarded best 6 players.Organizers would like to thank to all participants, parents, coaches and others who gave positive emotions. And of course big thanks to supporters – Liepāja Tennis sport school, SIA „Liepājas Olimpiskais centrs”, Liepāja city hall, Wilson Latvija (SIA “Intrad”), Cili Pica”, cafe „Lotte caffe”, SIA „Art soapworks”, SIA „Liepājas RAS”, SIA „Venden”.Winners of the tournament:
