This week Liepaja hosted the ITF Juniors J100 tennis tournament “Liepaja International by Prince” organized by the Liepaja Tennis Sports School. Latvian tennis players Daniels Tens and Beatrise Zeltiņa became the winners of the tournament.
49 young men and 43 young women from Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Estonia, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Finland, Ukraine, Germany, Sweden competed for the victory in Liepāja International by Prince. Liepāja Tennis Sport school was represented by Marija Lauva, Enija Paula Aploka, Alise Latiša, Elizabete Marta Hamitova, Anna Azarova, Bogdans Kozlovs, Dāvis Rolis, Ričards Špaks and Gustavs Brižs.
In the boys’ competition, the winner of the tournament became Latvian tennis player Daniels Tens by winning over Italian tennis player Tobia Costanzo Baragiola Mordini. Meanwhile, in Doubles the Finnish pair Oskari Paldanius and Jami Savolainen became the winners, who left Italian Tobias Costanzo Baragiola Mordini and German tennis player Artem Lyapshin in 2nd place.
In the girls’ Singles triumphed Latvian tennis player Beatrise Zeltiņa, who in the Final won over Belgian tennis player Lauren Seye. In Doubles Antonina Czajka from Poland and Lauren Seye from Belgium became the winners, leaving the Estonian couple Marie Johanna Lapimaa and Victoria Maria Mandma in 2nd place.
