Tennis Europe Venden Cup 2015 U14 has concluded

In the midday of June 26 in Liepaja concluded Tennis Europe Venden Cup U14. During the tournament were played interesting and intense games. Latvia in Main draw was represented by 4 boys – Renārs Grodskis, Valērijs Vorobjovs, Daniels Linkuns-Morozovs and Sergejs Ņikušins, but in girls competition – 10 girls – Elza Tomase, Veronika Zalcmane, Aleksandra Jakovļeva, Klaudija Lisovska, Katrīna Lasmane, Nikola Geller, Sabīne Rutlauka, Dana Gribeļska, Alise Grundule and Alise Vindiga. Unfortunately the in the 1st round won only 2 boys representatives – Renārs Grodskis and Daniels Linkuns-Morozovs. For getting into the best eight Linkuns-Morozovs lost to Andrej Injatkin from Russia with 1/6 5/7, but Grodskis lost to the next champion A.Paulson with 6/0 6/0. In Singles for boys final competed A.Paulson from Czech Republic and R.Ginat from Israel. The champion title was won by A.Paulson with 6/3 6/3. At girls competition for the 1st place competed 1st seeded I.Daujotaite from Lithuania, who won over new tennis player from Ukraine – D.Lopatetskaya with 6/4 6/1.In Doubles boys competition 1st place was won by pair from Czech Republic – A.Paulson/L.Jirousek, who with a score 6/4 6/4 won over Ukraine and Belarus duet M.Kniazeu/O.Ovcharenko. In girls Doubles 1st place was taken by Belarus pair K.Filichenok/A.Yakubovich, who with 6/4 6/2 won over pair from Ukraine and Belarus K.Diatlova/L.Dzemchanka.
